Conclusion – Ontario

In concluding this federal electoral district redistribution for the province of Ontario, the Commission wishes to express its sincere gratitude to the many members of the public who took part in this undertaking that is such an important part of Canada's democratic process.

We likewise wish to thank all elected Members of Parliament, who universally support the non-partisan drawing of electoral boundaries. It is one of the most important features of Canada's democracy. We are deeply appreciative of being asked to participate in this part of the democratic process, and have done so to the best of our ability. We also wish to express our deep appreciation to our Secretary, Paula Puddy, and our Geographer, Nicholas Hinsperger and Elections Canada. They were indispensable to our work.

With these changes and resulting amendments to the Report, the Commission's work is now concluded. The following pages provide revised population numbers, descriptions, names, and maps of the electoral districts mentioned above.
